Why Longhand exists.

We started Longhand after years of cutting pages out of planners that were almost right. The layout was right but the weekend got half a column. The paper was lovely but the trackers were someone else’s habits.

At some point the scissors stopped feeling like a fix. Decide the pages yourself, get them as a real planner you can hold, keep the layout for next year. That’s the whole idea. No method, no promises to change your life.

How do I print it?

Your planner arrives as a print-ready PDF sized to the page you chose, so any home printer or print shop handles it. Pick A4, A5, A6 or B5 if your printer thinks in ISO paper, US Letter or Half Letter if it thinks in inches, or Classic for discbound covers.

Does it work on a tablet?

Yes. The PDF opens in GoodNotes, Notability, and on reMarkable and Kindle Scribe like any other document, and every page is crisp vector, so it stays sharp at any zoom.

What does the free month include?

One full month of the exact planner you configured: the same layout, modules, ruling and colours as the full version, delivered as a PDF to your inbox. Downloads for full planners are available soon.

What if I make a mistake in the Builder?

The preview is the planner: the pages you approve are rendered by the same code that makes your PDF. Change anything and the free month you request next reflects it.

Can I start the year in July?

Yes. Your planner starts on the month you choose, any month of any year, and runs for as long as you set it. A July to June year is as correct here as January to December.

How do I get my layout back without an account?

Your layout lives in a link you keep. No account, no login, no password. Open the link and the Builder loads your exact planner, ready to use again unchanged or to change what the year taught you.
